Use [E] on a nearby minion to escape when you are about to be hit with Garen’s (Q). Engage only when Garen has (Q) on cooldown. However, Garen’s (E) can also deal a lot of damage if you stay for the full duration of the ability, so we recommend dealing damage through pokes.
